It was a weird photo day. I completely goofed (mechanically) with the camera on several good chances. I set out with several possible different themes in mind: rainbow colors (many shots, some okay but not so great); smoking vehicles (hard to photograph effectively); ticos on bikes (maybe another day; I didn’t see many today); late afternoon sunlight (I did a bit of walking and shooting late yesterday, but the photos are pedestrian); public art (I have a few decent shots in the files that I might resurrect on another slow day).
Anyway, the best shots turned out to be more people shots. Even though I failed (technically) to capture many of my opportunities, I did get these, which turned out okay.
The fruit vendor (shot on zoom); he sells at a street corner to the cars stopped at the light.
Waiting for the bus (shot with my belly technique on a second try; first shot I had the camera improperly set).
Bicycling up Rohrmoser (this one I shot conventionally).
