There are pretty flowers scattered about SJ and CR; many are exotic in keeping with the tropical climate. Photographing them has proven tough so far for three main reasons. (a) My camera doesn’t do a good job with red flowers. That color has a tendency to oversaturate. (b) It is usually quite windy, and that interferes with closeup shots. (c) Many of the loveliest flowers are on private property and the tight security makes me reluctant to dawdle in someone’s front yard.
Still, “flowers” was the theme today. These three photos are from the neighborhood.
