On our first day along the Sunshine Coast, we were treated to a steady drizzle from morning through the early afternoon. The sky finally gave some thought to clearing toward sunset. We did a bit of hiking in an area called Sippy Downs (the Mooloolah River National Park). The past days of rain left us with impassable trails. We enjoyed a nicer walk along the coastal headlands of Mooloolaba. Both of these areas were only a short drive from Alexandra Headlands, where we are staying for three nights.
