It was still raining on Saturday morning, but then late in the morning the skies cleared to beautiful sunshine! Although we got a late start because of the rains, we made a short drive north to Noosa Heads where we enjoyed a terrific hike in the Noosa National Park, about 4 km along the coastal peninsula and then 4 km across the center. We saw a koala in the tree near the park entrance and a large pod of dolphins off the coast near the "gates of hell." Noosa looks like a terrific place to stay. Next time!
