Love them! Is the landscape cold, hot, or comfortable?

Lots of elevation change meant a broad range of conditions. At the valley floor (below sea level) it was cool in the morning and very warm in the afternoon. At the mid level elevations we visited (1000-2000 m), it was cool during the day and cold at night. It was also very windy one day. Death Valley's sometimes harsh weather was great for this March visit.
