For Ingrid's birthday, we bought and planted two new fruit trees in our front yard. The four-way pluot has varieties Dapple Dandy, Flavor Supreme, Flavor Queen, and Flavor King.
The pear tree is a Comice. That initial prune is psychologically brutal to make, but still necessary. We're relying on advice, in part, from Ann Ralph's Grow a Little Fruit Tree.
