Washington University in St. Louis

I presented a seminar yesterday on "Semivolatile organic compounds in indoor environments," in the Department of Energy, Environmental and Chemical Engineering.

The university was founded in 1857. In the early 1900s, the university moved to its current campus, which was the site of the 1904 World's Fair. Brookings Hall, which is the main administration building, is shown in these pictures. It was the site of the English Pavilion in this fair. The grotesques are frightening!
